This application represents the first implementation for iPhone and iPad of the principal instruments used in Balinese Gamelan Gong Kebyar. It offers an authentic simulation of Ketuk (also known as Kempli) and Cengceng, which serve as the rhythmic foundation of this traditional ensemble. Ketuk provides the main cycle beats, while Cengceng subdivides these beats, capturing their intricate interplay.
